Indiferent de preferințe, prin educație tânărul poate să își depășească condiția, să-și atingă obiectivele și, mai presus de toate acestea, poate să treacă dincolo de orice frontieră. Totul prin lectură, percepută ca formă a educației. Lectura descătușează sufletele, dându-le aripi. Pe lângă oricare alt beneficiu al lecturii – și trebuie spus că lectura are nenumărate alte beneficii -, evadarea din comun este pe departe cel care atinge sensibilitatea unor spirite rebele.

Teaching Listening
The majority of students wish to understand what people say in English. Learners may listen to this language when they talk to other people face-to-face, when watching TV, listening to the radio, going to the theatre or cinema. Most people say that the spoken English is different from the written English. Some of the students even consider that it is much easier to understand a written text than to grasp the meaning of a spoken one. Our role as teachers is to help them listen to spoken texts as efficiently as possible.
Teaching Through Humour
How can humour be an effective tool in teaching and in creating the affective second language classroom? The focus is on the use of cartoons with practical examples of how to use and adapt this particular resource. One doesn’t have to be a gifted humorist to reap the benefits of using humour in the classroom.
Teaching English with Games
Teaching English as a foreign language refers to teaching the English language to students with different first languages. Teaching English can occur either within the state school system or more privately, at a language school or with a tutor.
I will focus on two games used with the students in the classroom, in order to prove the importance of teaching English through games.

Duminică-dimineața, 22 martie 2020, te trezești ancorat într-o lume a prezentului tehnologizat, a modernității, a adaptării. Care mai e astăzi realul scop al educației și, implicit, al școlii – ca instituție de învățământ – în această societate „atotștiutoare”, cea aflată la un click distanță de orice informație, de orice curiozitate, de orice interes?! Răspunsul e cât se poate de simplu și de evident – școala rămâne școală și dezideratul ei fundamental, idealul educațional a fost, este și va rămâne veșnic unul și doar unul – „formarea și dezvoltarea personalității umane”. Altfel spus, se dorește atingerea unui singur scop – acela de a învăța, mai înainte de toate, să fii om.
Modern Approaches to Language Teaching
